Tip & Curate is using their credit in the community to endorse content. Also curator contribute to the community by helping to curate the best posts each day, rewarding the creators of those high quality posts.
Curators earn rewards for curate contents based on how early they “tip & curate” and how many other curates get added to the content. Rewards are allocated at the end of each day (epoch).

You have a limited amount of energy (Voting Power, short for vp) that you can “tip & curate” per day, and you can choose the vp you tip & curate a piece of content.
Curation energy is restored at 100% for three days, i.e. 200 vp.
Each post has a three day reward period that starts on first tip & curate day. During this time, anyone can tip & curate to the content. After the reward period for a content ends, tip & curate is no longer allowed on that content.
